Certainly not my usual confident self and I was a Pediatrician!! If this is how I felt, I could only imagine how other parents must of felt.

It's "the talk" many of us neverhad, yet most of us, as parents, will have to give. The topic of sexuality is a topic that often provokes uneasiness, especially when it comes to discussing it with our children. Questions arise: When do I first broach the subject? What should my five-year-old know? How much information is too much? Should I wait until he or she expresses an interest? These are normal concerns for parents.
Come and review with a pediatrician, author and mother of three, the normal development of children when it comes to the topic of sexuality. This sensitive and informative class is for parents only of children ages 4 through 8 years.

Dr. de Freitas is available to come to your group (min. 10) at your home or school, and review the basic information that is age appropriate for young children to receive from their parents. These sessions are informative and the information is a guideline based on the American Academy of Pediatrics, the guiding board for all pediatricians.
Evening sessions during the week are available. Fee is $15 per person. Every participants receives a copy of Dr. de Freitas' booklet "The Birds and the Bees with Ease."
